Advantages: Unusual Place to Stay Disadvantages: Self Catering Only
...Have you ever seen a really unusual or quirky building and thought, "I would love to live there," or stay there at the very least? Well, sometimes you can do just that.
The Landmark Trust is a registered charity that offers its properties for self catering holidays. The charity was founded in 1965 by Sir John and Lady Smith and over the last 40 years, numerous properties of architectural and historical interest have been saved from ruin and demolition.
Once restored, the properties are let out for weekend breaks or holidays, with the rental funds being used to finance future preservation projects and also to maintain the properties already renovated. The Landmark Trust is saving our architectural heritage and you can help them by renting a Landmark for a long weekend or a holiday.
There are currently 178 buildings available...

And I Quote:
Cave Rock, South Africa

The surfing capital is without doubt Durban, where warm water and kind currents have...

Advantages: Clean and comfortable. Good Value For Money. Disadvantages: Long Wet Walk From Check In to Lodge. View From Front Rooms
..., just follow the Beverly (A164) signpost and you will find the Innkeepers Lodge three miles up the A164 adjacent to the roundabout at the local Willerby shopping centre, Waitrose being the main "landmark" store there.
Providing you have a car, as with many other Lodge locations, you will probably find this Innkeeper's Lodge convenient enough. Some may well argue that you are better off not actually finding yourself in Hull, but that is a different matter!
Whenever possible, time permitting, we always try to mix a little pleasure with my business calls. On this particular occasion my wife and I did just that. We visited and took...
