Advantages: Hot, not too commercialised but still plenty to see and do Disadvantages: Rubbish airport!
...is extremely pleasant from May to October - July/August being the hottest. Our tour operator was a small, independent outfit called Laskarina (you can find them online at Laskarina.com) - I'm writing a separate op about my views on them as a holiday company. I think Laskarina are the only company who offer accommodation in Posidonio Bay although there are lots of other UK tour operators offering holidays to Samos with apartments/hotels in the more touristy areas Pythagorian/Samos Town. There also seemed to be a fair amount of hotels & apartments along the northern coast of the island too. Basically I don’t think you'd be disappointed no matter whereabouts on the island you stayed; you're almost certain to be within easy walking distance of at least a couple of decent tavernas and you'll receive a warm welcome wherever you go - all...

Advantages: Friendly staff, Fantastic views, Great Atmosphere, Good Restaurant Disadvantages: Top of a VERY steep hill (but taxis cheap)
...The Ino Village Hotel is at the top of a very steep hill on the edge of Samos Town, which makes things a little difficult for anyone with mobility problems, although a taxi from the centre will only cost a couple of Euro and the receptionist is happy to call one for you if you can't even face the walk down the hill.
The rooms are featured around an attractive pool, with plenty of sunbeds available in shade or sun. The standard rooms are bright and spacious, but do not have a full sea view or air conditioning. Superior rooms have air conditioning (supplement for which is payable locally) TV, mini fridge and little extras like original paintings on the walls and attractive curtains etc. All rooms have good sized balconies.
The hotel is family run and has a very good atmosphere. Breakfast is the usual continental buffet, with seating...

Advantages: Central Naama bay location, 5 star hotel at bargin prices Disadvantages: If you are not used to Arabic culture you'll think your getting slow/poor service
...First please understand this is a review of the hotel not the resort of Sharm el Sheikh. I will add detail where appropriate but for a full review of the resort I will write one during one of my next reviews.
We have stayed in Sharm 11 times so far and our last 4 holidays we have stayed in the Naama BayHotel. We have stayed there in March, November and July, all have been excellent although July tends to be busier.
This hotel was very close to one of the bombs that went off but suffered only some broken glass in the front which was repaired quickly, I have to say that despite being caught up in the bombings we will have no qualms about going back and will be staying at the Naama bay on our next visit.
First I should let you know where our requirements lay so you can judge our viewpoint. We are divers and go to Sharm at least...

I stayed at this hotel for one week in July 2005. It was brilliant. The hotel looked classy from the inside and out, and was only a short way from the shops and restaurants in Paphos.

We stayed at this Hotel in June and had originally booked two studio apartments but on arrival we were upgraded to a two bedroom villa this may have affected my opinion of this hotel.
The only complaint we could possibly have made about this Hotel is... more
