Przed i Po Restaurant, Wroclaw

Advantages: Easy travel time from England 2 hours.
Disadvantages: Weekends are stag weekends for brits...............

...There was six of us in the group that had travelled to Wroclaw for 4 days. After a good flight and transfer to the hotel we were ready for a stroll. The town square was our first stop. On route to the square and just to the left of this picture is the two gnomes pushing and pulling a ball. This is one of the many gnomes in the city of Wroclaw and you can spend the day looking around the town for the others. We counted 12 but not sure if that ws the lot. There are more on the square but you have to look to find them and I will leave that to you on your visit. We stopped to have a beer......and had a choice of the local black beer, which was very nice. They seem to serve alot of the beer in a pint jug with a straw. On ordering you beer you also get a sanwich of dripping and the local sour bread, not for the figure consious. The buildings... Read review

Advantages: Can be a cheap getaway
Disadvantages: Queues, delays, smoking still allowed in some internal areas

...I have just returned from my latest foray into P&O's world of mini-cruise by ro-ro ferry, this time traveling from Portsmouth to Bilbao in Northern Spain on what turned out to be the Halloween themed Cruise, I wasnt aware of this when I booked. To sum the trip up, I would have to say that it would not be an experience that I would wish to repeat in the near future. To be fair to P&O many of the problems that have resulted in my desicsion not to repeat the experience were not problems that they had much influence over, but I still feel that there should be a better system in place to cope with delays. I arrived at Portsmouth at 18.30 which was the ticketed boarding time with a departure time of 21.30. On check in I was told that there had been adverse weather conditions in the Bay of Biscay which resulted in the Ferry being late... Read review

Advantages: Location only 60 yards from Old Town Square.
Disadvantages: Best to be shown to room on arrival.

...We stayed at this Hotel in April 2006. Our flight was a Ryanair Flight from East Midlands to Wroclaw, flight times are good. Lunch time departure from East Midlands so in Wroclaw for about 15:00 Hours Local Time. Return flight same plane back so Depart Wroclaw about 15:30 back in EMA for 17:30. Quite civalisied. Paid about £38 return incuding taxes. Transfer to the Hotel was by Taxi about 50 Zeloties (5.3 to the pound) The Hotel is very centrally located the street name Kielbasnicza, which is just off the Old Town Square. About 60 yards. The reception to the Hotel was bright with pleasant staff. I think it would have been helpful if the staff had showed you to the room, the main reason being that the rooms seemed to be spead over several floors that also is shared with other Businesses.
