Manufacturer's product description
Modern aparthotel situated opposite Fontanilla beach on Marbella's sea-front boulevard, just 500 metres from the old town and six kilometres from the nightlife of Puerto Banus. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool, embark on a sea excursion by catamaran, and dine on typical Spanish cuisine out on the hotel's palm-tree shaded terrace. The 60 studios and one-bedroom apartments are decorated in cool neutral shades; all open on to furnished terraces with sea views and include kitchens and satellite television.
Advantages: Beautiful views, well maintained, good size rooms Disadvantages: Location up hill
...I stayed in the PuertoAzul in 2002 for 2 weeks HB.
As a single traveller at the time, I looked for anywhere in the travel agents that had none or no single occupancy charge, and this was possibly the best out of what I was offered, all be it an Allocate on Arrival.
The design of the complex is quite unusual I feel, and the best way to describe it is imagine rock with a hotel on the top that keeps growing downwards...ie it drapes down the sides, well that there is PuertoAzul.
Having been to Playa del Ingles the year before on an AOA holiday and enjoyed it, I really wanted to go there and was a little disappointed when I heard it was Puerto Rico, however the resort is bustling and has ample shops and bars to occupy.
There are if memory serves 600+ steps down to the beach and the flat part of Puerto Rico where all the shops...

Advantages: Can get a good price on good quality Disadvantages: probably not a five star hotel
...I would suggest that if you need a quick dash to somewhere hot then you could do far worse than Marbella Hotel Corfu. Marbella proudly displays five stars at the end of the drive way, and whilst the rooms and facilities are good I would suggest five stars is a little generous. It is really the rooms which let the place down as they are similar in feel to a good Travel Lodge albeit with air conditioning. We opted for half board which seemed to work out well as there is plenty of food for all tastes - it's buffet style so a large serving area displays the dishes, and guests help themselves to whatever they want. There are lots to choose from, and I'm pleased to say that all of it is good. If you worry about noise at night from clubs / drunk folk having a laugh, then you don't need to worry about it here as the place is very tranquil...

Advantages: price and location Disadvantages: no sea views
...SEA VIEW BED & BREAKFAST
I would suggest you have a good look at other internet sites and compare the prices for yourself, as they do vary depending on when you want to go and how long for. You will not find this hotel featured in the brochures high street travel agents, as not many do package holidays to Marbella. The best and probably only route is to book your own flight and hotels, this way you can catch the flight you want a time to suit you too. This is what I do three times a year. Alpharooms are brilliant, I book on line print off the paperwork and turn up at the hotel and there is never a problem.
Places of Interest
Puerto Banus, probably the classiest and best known in the area, with it's large expensive yachts in the marina to gloat over, the night life, the bars, the restaurants and designer shop, it is a must...

We were looking for a relatively cheap, relaxing holiday in May for us and our two boys, aged 2 and 4. We spent a while looking at hotels and resorts before settling on the Delfin Azul in Alcudia. And I'm glad we made that choice. For information on... more
I booked this hotel through Octopustravel and with the intention that it would be easy to get to and from the airport and it would be easy to get to the town from the hotel without much hassle. Both turned out to be very true.
We got off the aeroplane... more
