Pulau Ubin - also known as Ubin Island, is a small island which provides local people a shade for camping or a weekend getaway. It is rather natural as compared to the artificial Sentosa Island. This is a cheap place to camp, to sun bath and to swim.
I think this is not only a place for couple, but also suitable for family outings or even a group of friends. The best activity to have on that island is Barbeque on the sandy beach. However, you have to prepare all the food stuff that you need before your departure to that rather cool and quiet island.

Advantages: Perfect for a unique cultural immersion and a wild food-attack. Excellent transport system means getting to anywhere is a breeze. Disadvantages: Hot (at least 30C everyday). Also, there is no natural scenery to speak of.
