When booking my flight to Nepal, Qatar Airways came out to be one of the cheapest and the most direct, but I was pretty sceptical as I basically had never heard of them before! Booked through The Flight Centre, even the guy I booked with, knew little about the airline. But it was cheap, so I thought I'g give it a go.
Thankfully the gamble paid off as the flight to Nepal was nice and easy. Qatar Airways have a new fleet of Airbus planes, and they look new too, nothing shoddy or cheap about them. Nepal is a fair way to go, but there was enough leg room for a comfortable journey.
There is on board entertainement (although not a personal screen)with the latest films on offer. The food was very good, and filling and there were always hostesses on hand for drinks. The flights I took were not full, so I was also able to have a couple of seats to myself.
My only gripe was that the toilets weren't cleaned at all on the flight so after a couple of hours things got pretty horrid!
But overall, very good value for money and an airline I will use again.

I've only used Qatar airways once but I was very impressed with their efficiency and the cabin crew were second to none in how they handled customer issues that arose.

I've used Qatar Airways once, and was satisfied with them. I just don't tend to go that direction anymore (mostly trans-atlantic now). Fr. K
