A few months ago, I had a family bereavement in the Middle East (Not in Qatar). I stayed at home wondering what to do and then I came up with the idea to go over and help in the burial and so on. I called around nearly all the airways and they were all either full or a few days later and I was not able to hold my patience anymore. I then came across the Qatar Airways website and I called their office on one the airports and they were just so helpful and understanding. They asked for my mobile phone number, called around to find the earliest flight and working out my connection from Qatar airport then called me back with all details of at least two current flights. Although they were not able to sort me with a return flight at that time as I wanted to come back on the same week, I requested them to select the earliest date and I will try to sort out an earlier date when I am over there. They said that can be done but it would be very expensive, I thought it would as astonishing and as disappointing as the other airlines but they came back with an amazing offer of £495 which to me that was a normal cost of the ticket that I usually pay when I go to visit my family abroad so I asked him to book and told him I am on my way to the airport.
Although I came slightly late, they were still waiting for me on the counter, processed the payment and booking, explained everything properly and wished me a good luck. No stupid questions or anything, it was just a simple, easy and straightforward experience.
The flight took off on time, the choice of food was fairly good, spacious, comfortable, less noises, well mannered staff although their English and Arabic languages and understanding of other cultures were quite poor but they still maintained a good service.
On Qatar airport, again no stupid questions, it was very simple and easy and the staff were very helpful. Being on Qatar airport was by itself a fantastic experience.
Although they were having a serious problem landing the flight, the atmosphere inside the flight was calm and we were always updated with the new information until we landed safely. I thought that shows the high level of experience they have.
When I finally arrived to my destination, I contacted their office and they were able to sort me a flight on the date I wanted with no extra cost to me but to a different airport which was not a big deal to me as long as I can arrive to the UK before the end of that day.
The return flight was just amazing, it was a special edition flight, each passenger has his/her own TV set with a remote control, the selection of films and programmes was quite large that I still missed watching a lot of them. This flight was a lot more spacious than the first one, better service and more food choices.
In general, it was a fantastic experience, always on time, not very crowded, no much noises, good service, well mannered staff and smooth flight so I will definitely use their service again and again.

Advantages: Good leg room, Excellent entertainment facilities, Helpful and friendly Cabin Crew Disadvantages: Staff at check-in and boarding gate speak little English and are not very helpful
