Sheraton Doha is an amazing old style 5* hotel

Advantages: 5* service, excellent food, clean big rooms with seating areas
Disadvantages: None

...big walk-in shower. The TV sound was routed to the bathroom, which I thought was very funny, you could carry on listening whilst you're having a bath or shower. Now I want one of those :) I'd recommend Sheraton Doha, it's a really really nice hotel with excellent service. ...

Luxury!

Advantages: Standard of hotel, staff and food
Disadvantages: Bit out from anything

...with Qatar airways. Because of the airline we flew with it meant a change of aircraft in Doha on both legs of the journey. On the way home the company I work for decided it would be a good idea for us to actually get the early flight out of Bangkok and then actually not fly onwards to the UK until the early hours of the next morning meaning that we would have nearly a whole 24 hours to spend in Doha itself.
