located on the main route into Galway, just 10 minutes from the city centre. All 105 guest rooms are of contemporary design and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, satellite television and trouser press as standard. There is an informal and very popular restaurant and bar. The leisure centre features a 20-metre pool, jacuzzi, gym, steam room, sauna, solarium and health and beauty salon. All-in-all, a convenient hotel for Galway and the surrounding area.
leisure travelers. The Limerick city center is 5 minutes away. Limerick began as a Viking colony on an island in the Shannon River and is now the fourth largest city in the country. It has benefited much from being so close to the Shannon Airport and from its new found role as capital of the Midwest Region. It is a city of historical and literary focus and has a great sporting tradition.
Advantages: Elegant, beautiful food, great leisure, beauty, relaxing, staff, free parking Disadvantages: disabled restricted, no grab handles in rooms, well out of galway
.... It was a comfortable bar with pleasant chatty staff and also drew in locals for the guinness by the looks of it. Drinks, coffees and pub grub was all going well here. It is reasonably priced for hotels. During our stay we did visit it for afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful in house cooked scones, highly recommended to all.
The hotel has a mix of clientele from business meetings, holidaymakers to locals alike, so the atmosphere was better than the average hotel. There are a number of side rooms all stately elegant open to sit in and read or relax which were beautiful and in keeping with the building.
The leisurecentre was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel. The only problem is there is no access for disabled as it is reached by a long winding stately staircase. the pool is large and has a dedicated swimming lane and a great...

Advantages: Great gym, clean and spacious rooms Disadvantages: Food can be poor, as can the service
...Although I should perhaps only detail the gym as the product title 'QualityHotelLeisureCentre' suggests such things, I thought it perhaps more helpful to offer readers a more introspective overview of the hotel as a whole; gym included.
I recently spent New Year with my fiance in Dublin and opted to spend three of these nights at the QualityHotel, located a ten - fifteen minute walk from the central O'Connell Street, and just across the Liffey from Conolly Station (both rail, busand LUAS services are available from here.)
Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the clean, spacious surroundings and adjoining bar which was, at the time, playing host to a doubtlessly talented jazz/blues trio whose music was unintrusive but pleasant.
We were able to check in at 2p.m and found our room to be incredibly good value...

Advantages: Cheap, great food, great leisure facilities, Disadvantages: Located away from shops, bars and restaurants
..., these can be bought from the leisurecentre reception (where you also can get towels so you don't need to use ones from your room) for 2 Euros. And as everyone else is wearing them you don't feel you look stupid! You can also get a padlock from the reception for use with the lockers. You had to pay a deposit for this (5 Euros I think) and you get this back when you return after your swim. There is also a gym but I can't really review this as I never went. However between the swimming pool and the gym is a glass wall and it looked like it had a lot of equipment in. They also do various fitness classes including aqua aerobics in the pool; I never went to these either.
My first visit to the hotel was very good but once a returned home I encountered a problem which a payment still pending on my bank account even though we had paid fully on check...
