Hello and welcome, to my review about the QualityHotel in Brighton.
About a month ago, my good friend Rory called me to put forward some ideas as to what we could do for his Birthday, after about 20 minutes in deep discussion and rampant surfing we decided that it would be a laugh to go to Brighton for the entire weekend to celebrate his birthday. Therefore first things first we needed somewhere to stay. A quick search on Google showed us a number of hotels in Brighton that were within our budget, one of them being the QualityHotel, so the prices they gave us were within our budget so we went ahead with the booking.

The location of the Hotel is superb; it is at the lower end of West Street. For those who don?t know Brighton that well, West Street is the main street where there are a number of clubs, bars ...

a seating area with a table and two chairs, a desk and chair, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, wardrobe and tea and coffee making facilities. There are no mini-bars in the rooms but every floor has vending machines (which actually didn't seem that badly priced) which had soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks. You also get an ice bucket in your room and next to the vending machines is an ice machine. If you want drinks in your room, get some from a shop (there are loads in the city centre) and fill your bathroom sink with ice and cool it in there, we had soft drinks, wine, vodka and milk in ours! The bathroom was 'wet-room' style with just a shower. The shower curtain went round the shower, there were no steps up or down and there was a seat if required under the shower which folded flat against the wall if not needed. Although I should perhaps only detail the gym as the product title 'QualityHotel Leisure Centre' suggests such things, I thought it perhaps more helpful to offer readers a more introspective overview of the hotel as a whole; gym included.
I recently spent New Year with my fiance in Dublin and opted to spend three of these nights at the QualityHotel, located a ten - fifteen minute walk from the central O'Connell Street, and just across the Liffey from Conolly Station (both rail, busand LUAS services are available from here.)
Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the clean, spacious surroundings and adjoining bar which was, at the time, playing host to a doubtlessly talented jazz/blues trio whose music was unintrusive but pleasant.
We were able to check in at 2p.m and found our room to be incredibly good value ...
