We booked the Quality Inn through Virgin Holidays this year. On arrival at the hotel we were booked in promptly and were presented with some vouchers for some free meals, which was good.
We were then taken to our room by a member of staff who took our luggage on a trolley for us. I was, however disappointed that we were located on the first floor as we had requested a ground floor. We have two children who were both under 3 so had pushchairs etc to contend with. We did manage fine though as is was only a few steps and the staff were always willing to assist. Our room looked over the gardens and was nice and quiet, unless you count the fountain just outside, but that was switched off at night.
The pool areas were clean and there were plenty of towels. We did go to the bar, which was nice, but very expensive - we went to the local wal-mart and bought our own wine! The evening entertainment was ok and the bar served hot snacks, like pizza, which were very nice and you could get them to take away too. The restaurant was good, but it didn't have as much variety as some of the other restaurants - our favourite was Ponderosa - fantastic value and lovely food.
The room was clean, with 2 double beds, clean bath facilities and fridge, tv etc. It was perfectly adequate for the holiday, as we didn't spend a huge amount of time there as we were in the theme parks so much.
I would book the hotel again as it was good value for money and was centrally located for all the amenities.
It is in a great position on International Drive, close to numerous restaurants and bars. It has a bus stop and an I-Trolley stop outside and I believe it also provides shuttles to theme parks, although we didn't use them as we had a car. (The hotel provides free parking for patrons, which is great). A car would not be essential if you were staying there as the transport links were very good.
I would recommend this hotel, it's not a palace, but is clean and conveniently located.
