The hotel is classed as a 3* motel in American standards but ... ...check in is quick and efficient and staff offer a warm welcome.
Rooms aretastefully decorated in light pastel shades and most of the hotel has undergone refurbishment and decoration over the years I have visited. There are 2 Queen size beds, Table and chairs, drawers and desk and hanging space for clothes. The hotel is classed as a 3* motel in American standards but I found it to be of very high standard. The check in is quick and efficient and staff offer a warm welcome.
Rooms aretastefully decorated in light pastel shades and most of the hotel has undergone refurbishment and decoration over the years I have visited. There are 2 Queen size beds, Table and chairs, drawers and desk and hanging space for clothes. At the back of the room is a large sink and mirror area, fridge and microwave and through a door is a Bath/Shower and toilet. The rooms are air conditioned and you can adjust this yourself to suit.
There is a shuttle service available to Sea World which is about 10-15 minutes drive down I-Drive and also Universal Studios which is about 20-25mins the other way. You can also book buses to Disney resorts for a small charge.
There are 3 good sized pools with plenty of sun loungers and free towels although it can get busy during the afternoon. I was so busy at the parks I didnt get to spend alot of time in them anyway.
There is a good Chinese resteraunt and a Pizza Hut right next to the hotel. I recommend a 10 minute walk to the Ponderosa Steak house.
I have only used the resteraunt once as I was usually at the parks all day but the buffet was lovely and a good selection on offer. There is also a 24 hr Deli to grab a quick bite to eat.
Advantages: Central location, Family frendly, Close to major attractions, Free shuttle service, Kids eat free policy Disadvantages: None really
I stayed here in September 2005 and found it to be a very enjoyable experience for all the family.The hotel is located towards the bottom end of International Drive facing Pointe Orlando Shopping Mall and takes around 40mins to reach from Sanford Airport.
On arriving at the Hotel the check-in is a very simple affair and takes very little time which is good after the long flight and drive to get here. The rooms are basic in design but have everything ... ...two double beds, T.V with Cable and Internet access, En-suite Bathroom, Tea/Coffee Maker, Microwave and Fridge. The decor was a bit tired but during my stay the rooms were going through a very extensive refit and the rooms that were done did look very nice and a lot brighter.
The hotel itself has everything you need to enjoy your stay Buffet style restaurant, 24hr mini market which serves lite-bite meals, Sports bar, Arcade room for kids, Gift shop, ...

Advantages: Staff, Location, Everything, this hotel is fantastic. Disadvantages: Rooms are slightly dated.
The Quality Inn Plaza is a fantastic hotel. With just 40 mins from Sanford Airport and five mins from Sea World, Wet and Wild and Universal Studios and situated on International Drive oppostie Pointe Shopping Mall - it's perfect! The hotel staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are quite dated but for a 3 star hotel and for the price you pay it's great. In the room you get a kettle, fridge, safe (which is free and ... ...tv. Plenty of draw space for your clothes. The rooms are a nice size and we had 2 double beds which felt huge. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash. Clean bedding every two days and as many clean towels as you need.

I would highly recommend a visit. The place we went was on International Drive, next to the QualityInnPlazahotel and nearly opposite Wonderworks (the upside-down house).

I like this chain of hotels. The little brother to the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza, it's a great way to stop in a good qualityhotel for not very much money.

You can get to them by going into the sixcontinenthotels.com site and entering the town or hiexpress.com, and doing the same.
You have to put the town in, the date you want to go there and the number of adults and children, and make sure the "best rates" has been selected in the box..when you do this, the holiday inn expresses in the town you selected pop up..and there is a box "rates" next to the name that you press to see the prices being quoted for the dates that you put in. One of the best rates at the moment is "SMART RATES"..try it- you will get a great price.

I am a Disney freak. Yes I now have that off my chest. Sorry I was just coming out there. Anyway I have wrote reviews of all of Walt Disney Worlds parks I will now give one of the hotels I stayed in a try.
On my third visit to Orlando we stayed here. On the other occasions we stayed in the QualityInnPlaza and an apartment in some hotel which I have forgot. When my dad told me that we where going to stay here I was over joyed not only was I going to Disneyworld I was going to stay there as well!
We travelled by British Airways and we where very impressed. Compared to the other airoplanes we travelled to Florida with this was luxuary. The other ones where Airoflot and the Airtours plane. BTW the first time we went we got it really cheap so that?s why didn?t stay in a decent hotel or go ...
