Although I am not one to love watching the Disney Channel, I've found myself paying more attention to the shows than intended when my younger brother has been watching. One of these shows I've found to be quite surprisingly entertaining is 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody'. At first I was not sure what to make of it, but by the end of the thirty minute episode I was ready to watch more (and more!).
The Suite Life has been running since 2005, coming up for five years now. There's been a total of three seasons since then, giving us just short of ninety episodes. It's all about twins Zack and Cody Martin who live in the Tipton Hotel (their mother Carey performs at the hotel so it's easier for them simply to live there!). In each episode the twins find themselves in some sort of mischief, winding up Mr Moseby and causing havoc for hotel ...
Advantages: Fantastic value Disadvantages: Moreish, can be easy to over indulge
I love Christmas and am lucky to have friends and family to enjoy it with. A product I always associate with Christmas is Quality Street as it always seems to have been around at this special time of year. Today somehow it appears much more ordinary and less luxurious than the packaging and media hype would have you believe. Still popular in offices and mess rooms, it seems many people still feel the urge to dip into a tin and select their personal favourite. Value For Money
Local supermarkets were knocking out a 1.2 kg tin (which is 1.16kg sweets if you exclude the wrappings) at the rate of any 2 for £9.00 just before Christmas. This equates to less than 39p per 100g for a well known and branded ...
Advantages: Something for everyone, snazzy packaging & value for money Disadvantages: You get the odd one you don't like & they can get sickly after a while.
This is my special Christmas review I don't normally eat this many chocolates in a row (honest) but for ciao I will make an exception.
THE START OF QUALITY STREET
Quality Street have been around forever haven't they? Along with Roses I think they were invented with Adam and Eve, that wasn't leaves covering their modesty it was the green triangle!
Produced by Nestle in 1936 they came out in pretty boxes costing around 2 shilling and in the 50's moved on to the tins which I think was the best and will remain the best packaging for Quality Street.
Quality Street is exported to over 70 worldwide countries and remains one of the most exciting chocolate varieties you can buy. They were no1 bestseller for twist wrap assortment in 2005, 06 and 07 proving they still have what it takes to please people's taste buds.
