Bath's bridge

Advantages: Pretty
Disadvantages: Thats it...

'd recommend visiting the Bridge then dinner in Browns (a five minute walk from the Bridge) followed by dancing at any one of Baths Nightclub (Po Na Na, Qube and Bablyons are nearest but are likely to be swamped with students)! Enjoy Pulteney Bridge as part of your visit to Bath but I wouldn't go JUST to see it - you'll probably be disappointed, it is free to see though so you might as well. ...

Review of Pulteney Bridge

Leeds nightlife - Truly metropolitan

Advantages: Plenty of variety, good quality pubs and clubs, reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Exceptions to the rule - Majestyk & Heaven especially!

Being a student, the nightlife was obviously an important factor when deciding to attend Leeds University! It certainly has not disappointed. The sheer variety on offer means there truly is something for everyone. For trendy socialites there's Bar North and "the qube" which has a superb outdoor area (near The Town Hall), sports bar fans check out 'Springbok' or if you're just after a good old-fashioned pub try the Hogshead. This really is just the tip of the iceberg - it is truly difficult to stand anywhere in the city centre look around and not see a bar or club. The quality also matches up to the quantity in most cases although serious clubbers beware of Heaven and Hell and most midweek nights @ Majestyk (just trust me!).Price is reasonable as well. Finally two major reccomendations. Pub fans visiting - The Rat and Parrot should be ...

Review of Leeds in general

A spendaholics dream come true!

Advantages: Shop for everything under one roof!
Disadvantages: can spend a lot of money!

, Topman, Officers Club, USC. Kids - Gap, Mackays, Next, Sphere. There are also great sportswear shops such as - JD Sport, Freespirit, Sports World, Trespass. Ladies? Fancy some new shoes? Try these out for size - Barratts, Clarks, Dune, Qube, Ravel, Timpsons. The one shop I love which is missing from here is Schuh! There is also the cheapest place in town?Primark! This is a store I love to visit for all my little bargains. If you are a fan of Glasgow Rangers football club then there is a store here you can buy all your footy memorabilia. Unfortunately there is no Celtic shop which my son is a fan of, although I'm quite happy about that as we would never get out of it lol. Oh and not to forget the more risqué Ann Summers which every woman should visit at least once? ;-) There are lots of health and beauty stores like ...
