Queen Street is the centre of Cardiff city. It's very accessible with car parking available (for a small fee)near Hypervalue, or you can reach it using public transport - the bus stops just around the corner from it near Cardiff Castle, Queen Street train station is also just round the corner. Basically its a street with shops, restaurants, banks, fast food places, offices on both sides. In the summer it has rides for children and street acts. You will also find people selling goods such as balloons, toys, match stuff (if there is an event on at the stadium), the local paper and the big issue. The variety of shops there means that there is something to suit everyone. The shops range from music shops - HMV, to chocolate shops -Thorntons, to mens clothing - Slaters Menswear, womens clothings - Next, etc... It also has entrances to the Queens Arcade, The Capitol Shopping centre and St Davids Arcade on it, which both lead to more facilities and stores for shoppers. Food wise if you want a great meal at a decent price there is Pillars Restaurant (Unfortunately I dont think it is accessible for people in wheelchairs or with walking problems as you have to go downstairs) or if your just looking for junk food then there is a McDonalds near the castle end (accessible for disabled people with disbaled toilets, wide opening doors and ground level seating) or further up the street there is Burger King (not really accessible for disabled people - upstairs toilets narrow doors)
Overall, Queen Street is a great place to shop, with a variety of places to go.
