The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral.

Advantages: Clean and fresh
Disadvantages: Like a rabbit Warren

The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70. We joined, my wife and I, on the ?Flexi? promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ?Full? 12 month tie in. Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and 2 free vouchers for friends/family. The vouchers entitle the user to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70. If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel. A fair few incentives but to be honest we just want to use the leisure facilities. My wife is recovering from Breast Cancer and she has some back problems resulting from the Radiography. She ...

BEST HOTEL LEISURE CLUB IN AREA

Advantages: Brilliant unbeatable leisure club, clean and at reasonable cost
Disadvantages: Hotel food average, Chistmas parties a disappointing rip off

I have been a member of the health club for 3 years now, and my review will be primarily about this. The hotel was built just over 3 years ago and is part of the De Vere Group. The leisure club is in the basement of the hotel...I say basement , it is actually on the ground floor, but the entrance to the hotel which you have to go through is on the level above, so you have to go up steps/ramp from the very large roomy carpark and them back down again. It did originally have a cafe copra, but this was shut and replaced by a second exercise studio, the ggod news is as of august 2008 they have opened a Starbucks which members get 20% discount at.The cost of membership is obviously different dependant on peak and off peak , there is not a family discount but you can attach children to membership for £10 a month, (7.50 at the Dudley branch ...

Queens Brighton and Brighton Queens

Advantages: Seafront Location, Extremely Well Priced
Disadvantages: Refurb Work Being Done, Overly Warm, No Internet Access

So, I'm sat here having been tasked with performing a full hardware audit at our parent company's various sites spread throughout the UK. Oh the exciting life I lead! The Brighton office is one of the larger ones and as such, required an overnight stay in the seaside resort of Brighton. So, preamble over, I checked into the hotel having spent pretty much a whole day on the train to get down there. Greeted by an almost entirely eastern European staff, my suspicions were raised. Previous experience has suggested that budget, mediocre hotels are often run poorly by eastern Europeans. I only paid £59 for my bed and breakfast stay at the hotel. In any case, check in was smooth and I was given my big old fashioned key to my room and told that it was on the third floor down a miriad of corridors. I was shocked to say the least ...
