Advantages: Situated in the heart of Mayfair Disadvantages: Expensive
...This is a wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair. It is a five-star hotel that backs onto Park Lane. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large in size. When I stayed there for the new year the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Although it is expensive to stay here it is thoroughly worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the West-end of London not far from Bond Street and Oxford Street. It is a good hotel to stay in for short shopping trips or for anyone going to London to see a show....

Advantages: Excellent location, high level of expecation in terms of standard and service Disadvantages: Can be expensive, even for a cocktail !
...A hotel with one of the most prime locations in London, the 5-star London Hilton on Park Lane, boasts one of the more salubrious addresses and settings of the Hilton group's London portfolio, slightly set back from the busy traffic of Park Lane, overlooking Hyde Park.
The hotel is modern, but with a certain degree of grandeur, with a spacious lobby, behind which lies the sweeping staircases up the Grand Ballroom and Wellington Ballroom. The latter boats fantastic views across Park Lane over to Hyde Park, particularly impressive in the eraly evening and an ideal setting for cocktail recpetions before dinner in the Grand Ballroom - for functions in the 700 - 1,000 region. I have been to a number of dinner funtions at the hotel, and the food at the two most recent dinners was actually of a very high quality ... I state that with a slight...

Advantages: Plenty of places to visit.... Disadvantages: none.......
...There are alot of places to visit around London, like The Tower of London which is worth seeing like the crown jewels, and see the ravens aswell.
Big Ben and the houses of Parliment, they are interesting because you do not know who you see coming out and going in there.
There is Buckingham Palace also to check as our Queen and family live there, you can always tell if the queen is in residence, you look to see if the union jack is flying or not, if it is the queen is in residence.
Plenty of parks like Hyde park to sit in and watch things or feed animals. There is also Trafalgar square to see the pigeons, and you can also feed them, but they bombard you so be warned.
For the kids there is Hamleys the biggest toyshop in London, but is expensive, but have a pair of good shoes as it is very large over a few floors.London Zoo is a good...

I'm a big fan of Ibis hotels and stay in them for both business and pleasure. I had, however, read a bad opinion of the London Euston branch, so when I found myself needing to stay in Euston the other night it was with slight trepidation that I booked... more
