Advantages: Cheap! location, clean, open late for check-in Disadvantages: by no means palatial but come on.....

It is also easily accessible by car and by foot and there is a public multi-storey near by. The location is good for exploring central London as Oxford Street and SoHo, Kensington, Kightsbridge and Chelsea are not far.
The concierge was open when we arrived ... ...and polite. The entrance is relatively smart compared with say a Formule 1 or similar.
The room was clean and adequate. I didn't expect much for the price but was pleasantly surprised really. The twin room was private and quiet. There was a wardrobe, a desk, a bedside cabinet and some lamps along with an LCD TV, an electric heater, tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom which again was clean and the shower was warm ... more

The concierge was open when we arrived at 23.00 and the man at the desk was helpful and polite. The entrance is relatively smart compared with say a Formule 1 or similar.
The room was clean and adequate. I didn't expect much for the price but was pleasantly surprised really. The twin room was private and quiet. There was a wardrobe, a desk, a bedside cabinet and some lamps along with an LCD TV, an electric heater, tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom which again was clean and the shower was warm if not particularly powerful.
The breakfast was fine. Again not luxurious but perfectly adequate. I had two slices of toast, some fruit cocktail, a croissant and some coffee. I was told a fried breakfast would be more so I didn't bother - contented with my continental platter.
So in summary for location and no frills value for money I think this place has to be near the top of the pile.
