Renfe has a very comfortable and forever modernising fleet of rolling stock, with all long intercity journeys in trains with comfortable seats, television screens showing the latest films, music, complimentary sweets ... ...and replaced to keep the RENFE fleet young. The Spanish have great pride in their train network.
The trains run very fast but don't worry, they are also very safe as they are fitted only with the latest safety devices. Everything is very secure and the doors are automatic to keep you in, so forget slam-door! The trains are very modern and extremely wheelchair-friendly.

Renfe has a very comfortable and forever modernising fleet of rolling stock, with all long intercity journeys in trains with comfortable seats, television screens showing the latest films, music, complimentary sweets from the friendly staff and all this in the clean environment!
The trains, as I have said, are very clean and are constantly being modernised and replaced to keep the RENFE fleet young. The Spanish have great pride in their train network.

RENFE has an extensive route network covering most of Spain. They have been running many years and have great services running very frequently on their modern network.
There have been next to no acccidents in Spain, if any, as their system is very organised to run smoothly and on-time, which is great for the passenger. They also have a 'BonoTren' - a but like a Travelcard, which gives you lots of train travel for very low prices!
They also have their website, www.renfe.es, which is very useful and tells you they have about 65 main stations, a bit like Waterloo, except much more modern!
You can also book tickets online, which is useful if you're travelling from the UK, because although the staff may be very helpful in Spain, they may not speak English, so book your tickets from the English section of their website.
The staff are very helpful at the stations, and make sure you buy a ticket because their network is not understaffed - you will find conductors on every train, and every last ticket is checked!
The trains are always on time, if not early. There are up-to-date information screens at every station, and even the tiniest stations have their own computerised public address system, giving clear information in Spanish and English in some places.
To be honest, their system is practically faultless. The staff never go on strike, as they are happy with their working conditions, stations are modern and equipped with lots and lots of good shops.
The tickets are relatively cheap for the service you receive and everything is very good. I think Railtrack must be jealous of RENFE, which is probably one of the world's best rail companies through the services it provides and the friendliness of staff... the list goes on.

Review of RENFE Red Nacional de los Ferrocarriles Españoles (Spain)
Stronly recommended if you're travelling in Spain is to cut out or cut down car hire and travel on the AVE trains which are high speed inter city services with airling like facilities. All trains I've travelled on have monitors above your head running down the corridors with new films playing, stewardesses handing out sweets for travelling through tunnels and childrens play areas. Not one out of 8 journeys have been late. Not one train was overcrowded. ...

Advantages: Cheap ,On time, fast. Next to the airport at Malaga. Disadvantages: They dont go to Marbella.
If you are going to the Costa Del Sol on holiday and you are wondeing how to get from the airport at Malaga to your hotel, before you book your taxi or shuttle bus, have a think about catching a train . The airport at Malaga has a railway station outside and it will take you about 5 minutes to walk there. Once there go to the ticket machine , click on the union jack to change the language to english. Make sure you have some euros in change, find ... ...put your money in and out comes your ticket. The train times are on show and the trains are on time, yes, they are on time. From Malaga to Toremolinos it cost us 1 euro 40 cents, that about £1.20. The journey took 11 minutes. The station was in the middle of Torremolinos, there is also a stop earlier if you are staying at the eastern side of torremolinos, like near torremolinos beach club end. The train carries on to Benalmadena and Fuengerola. From ...
