I live in North Wales in the UK. I enjoy travel and spend a lot of time on the internet looking for holiday bargains. I enjoy all sports especially football. I try to keep fit with occasional visits to the gym and swimming pool.

If you are going to the Costa Del Sol on holiday and you are wondeing how to get from the airport at Malaga to your hotel, before you book your taxi or shuttle bus, have a think about catching a train . The airport at Malaga has a railway station outside and it will take you about 5 minutes to walk there. Once there go to the ticket machine , click on the union jack to change the language to english. Make sure you have some euros in change, find you destination, say wether you want a single or return, put your money in and out comes your ticket. The train times are on show and the trains are on time, yes, they are on time.
From Malaga to Toremolinos it cost us 1 euro 40 cents, that about Ģ1.20. The journey took 11 minutes. The station was in the middle of Torremolinos, there is also a stop earlier if you are staying at the eastern side of torremolinos, like near torremolinos beach club end. The train carries on to Benalmadena and Fuengerola. From what I can remember the train left the airport every 20 mins or half hour. We used the train to and from the Airport and will do next time. We also used it whilst there to travel. Much cheaper than taxis and quicker.
The first stop in torremolinos is at la Colina, which is ideal if you are staying at the torremolinos beach club. It is a ten minute walk though and I doubt there will be a taxi waiting. The next stop is in the middle of Torremolinos. Hope this helps
