I am the sort of person who enjoys planning for their holiday. I love researching our destination and I devour as much information as I can before I go as I find that if I am knowledgeable about a place I enjoy myself much more. Embarking on a cruise last year was my idea of heaven as it gave me ample opportunity to research lots of different places.
One of our ports of call was Dubrovnik and it soon became apparent that this would be a suitable destination for an independent sightseeing tour. I read quite a bit on the internet but decided that taking a guidebook with us was probably a wise move. We wanted to visit Glasgow for the Hogmonay celebrations and also for my 50th Birthday. We chose Rab Ha's on a personal recommendation and we were not disappointed.
It is an excellent establishment. It has four rooms above an excellent pub and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was wonderful with a really good varied menu. The food in the bar was pub food, but damned good pub food. We ate in the restaurant once and the bar twice.
The breakfast was a continental selection (cereal, croissants, toast, fruit, cheese etc) which in my opinion makes a great change from the usual British Breakfast (which in my experience most hotels are pretty crap at anyway, especially the Chain Hotels)
