We stayed in Orlando for ten days and went here about three times!
It is so handy to get to if you are staying on international drive and it is a lot of fun!
I like to eat out and I also like fun places, Race rock filled both these criteria.
There is plenty to see - motorbikes/cars -all re-modelled and fitted around the restaurant, if you look up, you will probably see a racing car dangling above you!
This was great, as there was no place in the restaurant where you did not get a good view of the racing memorabilia, you do not have to be a huge fan of motor sports to enjoy this restaurant's atmosphere either -- the quirkiness just adds a bit off fun!
Seeing models of people of motorbikes right next to you as you ate, in my opinion, put this restaurant up there with the hard rock cafe.
The colours were great, and you could certainly not say that this restaurant was boring.
The restaurant was always lively, but not overcrowded or too noisy, just a really plesent atmosphere in which to have a casual meal.
The service was very good , the waiters and waitresses were all dressed up in the race car theme, and this added to the fun. They were very helpful and bought our meals quickly to us each time.
We did not have the greatest food -- I would call this more of a snack cafe' , we ate pizza here and burgers, but no serious large meals, the ice cream was pretty good too. There is also a wide variety of drinks here and car themed cocktails! I really enjoyed these:)
This was basically a very convenient restaurant, with a little more going for it than your usual restaurant where you could be assured of good quality service and a filling snack.
The food was a little pricier than I'd have liked to have paid, but the atmosphere made up for that, and the fact that you could turn your dining experience in to a "trip" to see some racing memorabilia was fun.
I would reccomend eating here if you are staying near by, its friendly, its fun, the food is good and there is plenty to see -- a great way to turn a simple snack into an experience!
