I stayed in the Sussex hotel over Easter and had a great time.

The hotel is located about 1 minute from Marble Arch underground station and one block past Selfridges, so if you like to shop this hotel is ideally located for you.

It's quite an impressive building from the outside and although the entrance looks pretty none discript, when you walk into reception it turns out to a lovely modern hotel.

I was greeted by a very friendly and competent Receptionist, who gave me all the info I needed and checked me into my room with no hassles at all. Security is quite high as you need the key card to move around the building and to work the lifts.

The room itself has very modern decor and very comfortable furnishings. The bed is so comfy, by far has to be the best hotel bed I have ever slept in, and I stay away from home quite regularly with work. The room is air conditioned and has a Bang & Olufsen TV which you can use to select CD's to listen to (at a price) and use the internet, along with the usual films.

The wardrobe automatically lights up when you open the door, which is a nice touch, and also conceals the iron & board, trouser press and bath robes.

The bathroom although small was exceptionally clean. The shower was powerful and just what you need before and after a long day in the City.

The only gripe I have is the price of the drinks in the minibar, very expensive, but then when in London, you do expect to pay more for these services!

The bar is modern and trendy and very enjoyable to sit and have a drink.

There is a business service room, with free internet access and a printer which is ideal for doing some last minute research on places to eat and things to do.

All in all I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel to any young or young hearted couples who maybe travelling to London for a couple of days.
