The hotel is lovely and service is good - I cant really comment more in details on certain aspects as I only stayed for 1 night. However from what I did see and experience I would definitely stay here again if I was going for longer.

City Avenue entertainment area, with a complimentary shuttle service to the subway and Domain shopping district. The hotel presents you with the artistic interior of the marble lobby, featuring a wealth of architectural elegance with Roman style columns, which adds a lavish and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to rooms with teakwood furniture, the hotel also features a business centre, fully-equipped health club, and conference and banquet facilities. With the motorway located within a short distance, the hotel is only a 30-minute drive from Bangkok International Airport and a 45-minute drive from the fast-growing industrial base and the Eastern Seaboard.

its luxurious settings which are further enhanced by cordial Thai hospitality. The truly sumptuous Radisson Hotel presents a harmonious blend of tranquil colours and superb furnishings, while offering both comfort and style. The artistic interior of the marble lobby features a wealth of architectural elegance along with extensive use of Roman-style columns thus adding a lavish and welcoming atmosphere to the Hotel. The entire ambience is undoubtedly elegant and pleasent, making a visit at Radisson Hotel an unforgettable experience. The hotel has 448 luxurious guest rooms and suites including Business Premier Class Floor; the choice for both business and leisure travelers alike. Modern comfort amenities come with every guest rooms, thereby reducing any \"away from home\" feeling to a minimum. Furthermore, an endless variety of entertainment venues can be found at our hotel such as the Blackie Sports Club which serves exotic cocktails, local premium beer and other favourite drinks amidst the exclusive sports atmosphere. However, if you get the urge to listen to some live music, on any night, our Sky Lounge on the 24th Floor is the good venue as the venue employs one of the best local bands who delivers a hot set of some of the best hits in the 60\'s.

Advantages: Rooms, staff and price Disadvantages: Not right in centre so may not be suited for some

Room:
The room was huge with two really good sized beds and very clean - the room had a TV with satellite, tea/coffee facilities, writing desk, table with chair and iron and ironing board.
The room seemed fairly modern ... ...through a modernisation recently with things like new carpets etc. The view was excellent as the hotel is quite high rise.
The thing I loved most about this hotel was the size of the bathroom - it was really big with a great sized shower and it also had a tub that was on the other side of the room. Also this hotel has triple bedded rooms but rather than like some other hotels where this will be the same size as a room made for two but with an extra ...

This weekend just gone me and the missus thought we'd go off on a short break in London. We chose the SAS Portman Hotel since its location was fab and the price fell within our budget of £300 for 2 nights. We had heard only good things about this one so... more
As a fairly regular visitor to Bangkok, I always book flights and then sort out my own accommodation rather than get a package deal. Accommodation is cheap and plentiful there, we're talking £10 - £15 per night for what might equate to a three star... more
