Radisson Hotel, Bangkok

The hotel is lovely and service is good - I cant really comment more in details on certain aspects as I only stayed for 1 night. However from what I did see and experience I would definitely stay here again if I was going for longer.

Room:
The room was huge with two really good sized beds and very clean - the room had a TV with satellite, tea/coffee facilities, writing desk, table with chair and iron and ironing board.

The thing I loved most about this hotel was the size of the bathroom - it was really big with a great sized shower and it also had a tub that was on the other side of the room. The room seemed fairly modern as from what I could tell the hotel had been through a modernisation recently with things like new carpets etc. The view was excellent as the hotel is quite high rise.
The thing I loved most about this hotel was the size of the bathroom - it was really big with a great sized shower and it also had a tub that was on the other side of the room. Also this hotel has triple bedded rooms but rather than like some other hotels where this will be the same size as a room made for two but with an extra bed in it, it was actually a lot larger to accommodate the extra adult which was a great bonus for those using these rooms.

General hotel amenities:
I don't remember seeing anything about childcare in the hotel but business wise there was meeting rooms and internet access available in the hotel. I also don't remember seeing a spa but I could be wrong!

The hotel was spectacular when you walked in and very impressive, the staff were always friendly and helpful and always smiling. Most of the other guests I saw seemed to be couples or older groups - in fact, I didn't see any children at all whilst I was here.

The hotel had it's own bar/nightclub that had a sports theme where you could get food too and it was quite busy when we went in for a quick drink before going out.

Food & Beverages:
We only had breakfast included but, because our flight was very early the hotel provided a breakfast box to take with us on the coach to the airport. It consisted of a cold sandwich with ham and cheese, a pastry and a orange juice.
We thought this to be excellent of the hotel to arrange as not many would!
The food in the bar looked tasty and in the main restaurant upstairs, the atmosphere seemed really good as it was busy with live music. However, we didn't eat in there so I cannot comment on the actually food quality.

There was a good range of beverages in the bar.

Location and surroundings:
The hotel really was in a good location for relaxing as it was set on it's own, however there was a market next to the hotel so great for shopping and also if you wanted to go to the main market, the hotel ran a shuttle bus service.

You could easily arrange to see sights from this hotel so even though not nearby to them it isn't inconvenient to get to them. This is the same case for getting to any nightlife to as again you can take the hotel's shuttle and if you miss the last one back a tuk tuk or taxi is cheap enough to get.
