Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast
Disadvantages: Expensive

The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made ...

Uruguay or U-Ru-GUay

Advantages: Really nice museums to keep you engaged with the city
Disadvantages: The constant meat you are meant to eat

was a flight which took 20 hours to complete but it was a nice journey on route with top service on the plane. With Montevideo there time is 3 hours behind us so overall there is not a big difference and it makes it easier to adapt when you arrive. You have to make sure that you have converted your pounds in to Peso which is their currency and I had some trouble finding the right place to do this. I arrived at the very small airport and I went to find some form of transport and I was approached by this rather amusing taxi which was black and had a yellow top which in theory could be mistaken for a police vehicle in how it appeared. I got to my hotel which was a superb place and it was sensational inside and out. A comfortable night at the Plaza

Advantages: Comfortable bed, nice modern room, good location, close to airport transport
Disadvantages: No safe in the room, the automatic mini bar, crowded breakfast area

I stayed at Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel in December 2005 at room 919. The hotel is hard to miss in downtown Oslo. With its 37 floors it is Norway's biggest hotels and one of the tallest building in Oslo (if not the tallest). The location is not bad at?if you arrive at Oslo Central Station after taking the Airport Express train it only takes about 5 minutes walk to get to the hotel. I think it is the only Norwegian hotel that I have been to that has a international feel when you walk into the reception: there are bell boys in fancy red uniforms, flat screen TV's showing news, bars etc. The check in was fast when we were there even if the hotel was quite busy in connection with the Nobel Peace Price preparations.
