Radisson Plaza Hotel, Tahiti Island

A comfortable night at the Plaza

Advantages: Comfortable bed, nice modern room, good location, close to airport transport
Disadvantages: No safe in the room, the automatic mini bar, crowded breakfast area

I stayed at Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel in December 2005 at room 919. The hotel is hard to miss in downtown Oslo. With its 37 floors it is Norway's biggest hotels and one of the tallest building in Oslo (if not the tallest). The location is not bad at?if you arrive at Oslo Central Station after taking the Airport Express train it only takes about 5 minutes walk to get to the hotel. I think it is the only Norwegian hotel that I have been to that has a international feel when you walk into the reception: there are bell boys in fancy red uniforms, flat screen TV's showing news, bars etc. The check in was fast when we were there even if the hotel was quite busy in connection with the Nobel Peace Price preparations. Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast
Disadvantages: Expensive

The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made ...

Review of Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London

Not normal Radisson Quality

Advantages: Close to Beveley Hills
Disadvantages: Location is a bit dodge....Dont go out at night without a bodyguard!!

bad but with slow staff .....nightmare. We where lucky to get an upgrade to a mini suite, but again the room wasnot very nice.The king bed was lumpy, and the room as well as the rest of the hotel needed refurbishment in my opinion.The main problem was noise of the traffic and air con units in the room.General lack of maintainance was also a problem as both the sink and coffee maker had problems. Ive stayed at a lot of Radissons in my time and would have said until this hotel that they are an excellant chain offering first class service.This hotel was a let down and should not have the Radisson name, as Radisson is a chain I link with QUALITY and this hotel didnot have any of this!!!.Ths only good thing to point out is that this hotel had a burger king straight across the road...shame the staff there didnot speak english ...
