Radisson SAS Hotel - Manchester Airport, Manchester

Advantages: Close to airport and railway station, high quality hotel
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, adjoining rooms are noisy!

The Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport is conveniently located between all three airport terminals, the coach and rail stations within the Manchester Airport complex. I have stayed at this hotel twice in 2005 on each occasion staying just one night before catching flights home to Jersey Location ---------- The hotel is the only hotel linked directly to Manchester Airport. It is reached via the covered Sky Link which links each of the airports three terminals. From the furthest terminal (three) it is about a five to ten minute walk depending on how fast you are - or how late you are for the plane! Manchester ...

The Radisson hotel at Manchester Airport is probably one of the more well known as it has now been there for quite some time and unlike a lot of others around the Airport, hasn't been bought out over the years and renamed. ...if you wanted to, the Radisson has the advantage as if it was pouring down with rain for example, you need not even go outside to reach any of the terminals at all as you can use the skylink that is connected to the hotel. If you haven't yet realised, roundabouts are a key feature of Manchester Airport. Ok going back two years now, I took my then fiancee to this hotel en-route to a romantic getaway. She didn't know what was happening but I had booked her off work for a week. I won't go into the fine details of it but we turned up at the hotel (quite strange that the lobby is not on the ground floor but on the floor accessable via the airport walkway) and booked in.
