The Radisson hotel at Manchester Airport is probably one of the more well known as it has now been there for quite some time and unlike a lot of others around the Airport, hasn't been bought out over the years and renamed. The hotel is set right in the heart of Manchester Airport so that all three terminals are easily accessible from it and it is easy spot if you are coming off of the motorway to the Airport as it is set right at the bottom of a hill in front of the main roundabout at the airport that has all the flags of the world on it.

Room:
The rooms at the hotel are all a decent size - they have various room types and the lower floors consist of the standard rooms and the higher floors have the upgraded rooms.
The standard rooms are nice but tend to be decorated in a more simple style whilst the upgraded rooms tend to be brighter and are larger with better amenities.
The rooms are cleaned everyday and you can order room service 24hrs. They have Tvs in them that have cable.

General hotel amenities:
The hotel can be entered through either the main lobby on the ground floor or you can enter at the bar level in the sky tunnel that links terminals one and two of Manchester Airport.
The hotel is modern and staff are very helpful. The hotel also has meetings rooms for business and business guests can hire out the main dining room for private functions which overlooks the terminal two area.
The bar serves a good range of drinks but is not cheap! The hotel also has it's own gym which is at a charge but it is a really nice gym and quite a lot of the locals use this as their main gym.

Food & Beverages:
Service in the restaurants is of a very high standard and they have a really good range of food and drinks to choose from. The main dining room is large with big windows and in the evenings it looks lovely with lots of nice lighting to set the mood.
It is ideal for guests who are jetting away to be able to relax the night before a flight. Price wise , it can be as expensive as you make it but it is a more upmarket restaurant so bear this in mind.

Location and surroundings:
The hotel is right overlooking the terminal two area of Manchester Airport however all rooms are soundproof so this isn't an issue and you can get a good nights sleep. The location of this hotel though is by far it's best feature over all the other airport hotels in the area. Even though all the others are within easy reach of the terminals and you can walk from them (the ones on site at the airport) if you wanted to, the Radisson has the advantage as if it was pouring down with rain for example, you need not even go outside to reach any of the terminals at all as you can use the skylink that is connected to the hotel. This is a big bonus for the hotel!

If you are looking for nightlife, you can reach Manchester city centre within 20 minutes by taxi and one of the other Airport hotels in the immediate vicinity has it's own nightclub - if you want it it is there!!

The main train and bus station of Manchester Airport is literally across from the hotel and guests arriving from elsewhere to the Airport by these methods cannot fail to see the hotel and you can even walk from the station through the sky tunnel and into the hotel without even having to step outside!

Overall this is a good choice for those guests that want convenience and a nice hotel at the same time - it is also good for business travellers too so it is a sure fire winner all round.
