fine food, it offers a unique panoramic view on the "Cité des Gaules". Located in the town center, a few steps away from the Part-Dieu railway station, its bedrooms all boast the highest quality amenities. The 354ft high panoramic bar "Le Ciel de Lyon" overlooks the whole town from the 32nd floor and offers a nice, warm English setting to start or end up you night. The panoramic restaurant "L'Arc-en-Ciel" offers an exceptional view over the old town. The chef is an expert at combining flavors and tradition and offers an original cuisine that lives up to its reputation. In the ground floor "Le Bistrot de la Tour" serves buffet starters and desserts from which you can help yourself as much as you like.
...The SASRadisson hotel in Dusseldorf is one of the city's premier hotels. The hotel is located an Golzheimer Platz half way between the city centre and the Messe, or exhibition hall. The hotel is also conveniently located on the tram line which makes access to the convention centre and the city very easy. It is only a fifteen minute taxi drive from the airport. The hotel boasts two restaurants as well as a swimming pool and well equipped gym, for those who want to make use of the facilities. The prices are relatively high, particularly at fair time, and at this time the rooms are almost impossible to get, so book very early....

Advantages: New, Spacious Disadvantages: Out of the way, expensive, no facilities
...Just come back from a week in the Radisson Golden Sands Hotel (October 2007). The Hotel and Rooms are clean and spacious, however beds especially the sofa beds are every uncomfortable. The food is very expensive and unfortunately is nothing special. Good view overlooking the small beach, and good outdoor swimming pools. Bring your walking boots as the hotel is miles from anywhere. There are no shopping facilities apart from a small gift store, a jewellery store, and a poorly stocked excuse for a food store. Overall comments and experience, overrated, overpriced, not a 5*, out of the way, and no facilities. NB: Beware the timeshare reps as they are out to get you. We also experience very bad weather for the week, cold, wet, and very windy and this might have also tainted our view....

Advantages: high quality service, responds to its **** Disadvantages: prices
...When I got married, me and my new husband were presented a night stay in a suite in RadissonSAS Daugava hotel in Riga, Latvia (our home town). It's a business class hotel of American type and it's awarded ****. One of our guests was a member of Radisson Gold Card club, and it allowed her to choose a day when someone can stay in the hotel for free. So it was a perfect wedding present for us.
We arrived past midnight and it turned out that we were expected (we still wore our wedding gowns). The staff congratulated us and led to our room. It was a double with the most pererable view of location: old city across the river. What's more, we received a wedding present from Radisson too: a bottle of Freixenet on ice and a card.
After a wonderful "first night" in there we went for a breakfast in American Cafe, and our "best men" came to share...

I have just returned from a short skiing holiday to Norway where our party of 8 (4 Adults and 4 Children) stayed in this wonderful hotel. Our accommodation was half board. The rooms were comfortable, with private bath or shower, WC, mini-bar, cable TV... more
This review of the hotel will be a bit limited as I only stayed there for one night in April 2007. I arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning so this is merely my impression of the room and check in/check out.
