Lane Hotel is close to the many shopping areas with a mixture of exclusive boutiques and stores, and the old city with its many restaurants and bars. The hotel offers 174 spacious rooms fully equipped with amenities expected of a first class hotel. Several of the rooms offer magnificent views over the city park. The hotel also offers non-smoking rooms and has three floors with Sabbath lock. Guests can also request a kosher breakfast.Additional information- The hotel has a 24-hour reception.- Pets are allowed for €15 a night.- Luggage can be stored at the hotel.- The use of the Health & Leisure Center with a sauna, fitness, swimming pool, Jacuzzi and Turkish steambath costs €10 per person per stay. Guests that stay in a Superior Room can make free use of all these facilities. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the use of the Health and Leisure Centre is also included for guests that stay in a Deluxe room.
This weekend just gone me and the missus thought we'd go off on a short break in London. We chose the SAS Portman Hotel since its location was fab and the price fell within our budget of £300 for 2 nights. We had heard only good things about this one so we booked at Lastminute and paid £240 for a Superior room with breakka. Or breakfast, in English. If we had booked through the hotel's own website it would be nearer £300.
Where is it, then?
The hotel is located just off Oxford Street, opposite Marble Arch tube station. It has easy access by tube, since Marble Arch, Bond Street and Oxford Circus are within walking distance, and many buses stop nearby. Even night buses! I don't need to tell you how good Oxford Street is for shopping.... but I will. All the major chains are there, plus its home to some of the biggest department stores ...
Advantages: Stylish hotel in a superb location. Unique feature of huge aquarium in hotel atrium. Disadvantages: One bed rather than two pushed together would have been nice!
the total for two people for two nights but does not include breakfast.) Its not cheap but for the comfort and superbly convenient location I think it could be considered reasonable value. (Little side point here - the cost of using the observation lift in the aqaurium is not included for hotel guests.)
Would I recommend this hotel? Well for couples or friends visiting Berlin for a sight-seeing weekend............go on.......give yourselves a treat.

A very important factor for us all. I paid £180 for the 2 nights and Buffet breakfast was included. It was on the Magic Weekend Package that I booked over the internet. Personnally I thought this was a very good price for 2 adults for 2 nights to stay in a top class hotel in the centre of Belfast.

Well I think the next important thing is location and this hotel is ideally positioned. It was easily within walking distance of the main centre. The hotel is no more than 10 minutes from City Hall.
