Advantages: Lots of lovely museums, pretty trees, beautiful islands and buildings
Disadvantages: Expense of food and alcohol

...times to the present being held in the Royal Armoury in Stockholm until January, which I was keen to see. There’s also the opening credits to Monty Python and the Holy Grail… So Stockholm was decided upon, and my mother duly booked us flights and a hotel. I was away on a Summer School at the time, so I can’t comment on the ease with which she did this or the exact prices of our flights etc, but I do know she went neither for the ultra-cheap options nor for anything very fancy, and the basic cost of flights and hotel was a little over a grand for the two of us. ...!!!!) (+++++++) In Stockholm there is couple zoo's and themepark. And King of Sweden King Carl XVI Gustaf got homepalace where he live with queen Silvia and crown prinsess Victoria, prince Carl-Phillip and princess Madelene. Royal Palace is open for visitors and you can see guardian chance daily. Traveling in Stockholm is very easy, by walk you get more but if you are busy use Stockholm metro (Tunnelbanan). And if you get sick of Sweden, you can always hop in to ferry and go to Finland, Estonia and Latvia. Unfortunary Swedish dont use euros ( big minus -- - - --).20 SEK (kronor) is little pit over 2 euros. Hint: Stockholm got own A-Z map as well.... Read review

...I lived in Stockholm for 2 1/2 years, and although I am English, my family and I found living there a lot easier than other foreign countries which have been graced by us. If you plan to go on Holiday in Stockholm, then I can say, wise choice! Its a beautiful city with a lot of culture. But there are perhaps a few useful points that would be helpful to know, from my knowledge of living there. Firstly, take a lot of money. The currency is Swedish Kroner, and things are expensive in Stockholm, compared to countries such as England or the USA. There are a wide range of hotels to stay in. Such as the Sheraton, or the Embassy. However I would check each one out first, as prices vary. There are many things to see and do in Stockholm, however they vary from each season.
