Today I have had occasion to find out the cost of a return ticket from Newton Abbot in Devon to Bristol Temple Meads. Why? You ask! Boyfriend problems. A crisis apparently! Anyway I looked at the map of Bristol and my eyes clung sadly to it's hideous gyratory system and I thought...I'll get the train. Terrified that it would be exorbitant I rang the enquiries number and I was told that it would cost a marvellous £21.10, roughly £10.00 and hundreds of hassle cheaper than taking my delightful Ka there and back. So, any journeys you are going on just check the cost of the train, you might be pleasantly surprised.
