Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games
INTRODUCTION
Our Nintendo Wii has been hibernating under our TV, gathering dust since shortly after Christmas. The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.

Advantages: Good for all the family, Great fun, Entertaining, Something to do on a rainy day Disadvantages: Expensive
my favourite game off the Wii Sports Resort. I think it is really good fun. Your Mii (for those of you who aren?t familiar with the Nintendo Wii, your Mii is like a little cartoon version of you) throws a Frisbee, exactly how you would if you had a real Frisbee.
Another feature from this game is there is a really cute little dog which runs out to catch the Frisbee when you throw it.
Some people might be thinking, ?so why don?t you just throw a real Frisbee then?!? but the good thing about this is you can throw a Frisbee as if you really are throwing one, in your own front room, without knocking anything over or smashing your mum?s best vase! So when it is raining and too cold to go outside, you can still play your sports - just inside the house, which is what I do on cold, rainy days!
I think this game is quite girly but I?m sure ...
Advantages: Lots of fun for all the family. Superb graphics. Compellingly addictive. Disadvantages: Only 12 sports featured, some of which aren't that fun to play.
For those that own a Nintendo Wii, it won't be new knowledge to discover that the console is in many ways unique to other computer consoles in the market. For starters, there are no wires required for the controllers; all movements (even the slightest jitters if you use the Wii Motion Plus) are transmitted and you can get a genuine sense that you are playing the game for yourself in real life. This is certainly true with Wii Sports Resort. Similar to Wii Sports, each of the sports is set around the fictional Wuhu Island.
So what sports are there? Well some may argue that some aren't that well-known (or indeed all that popular), but each of them offers players the opportunity for a unique gaming experience. There are 12 sports in total, and up to 4 players can play consecutively in most of the games.
