    Advantages Advantages Elegant lobby, relatively cheap price

    Stayed in a standard twin room in September, 2006. Didn't take any pictures of the place but they do have a website with some pictures at http://www.rainbowhotel.com.cn which has the option of English, Chinese or Japanese. The hotel is supposedly a 3-star hotel but I don't know. I have traveled quite a bit, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Let's start with the good--the lobby looks elegant, with bright chandelier lights and busboys willing to help you with your stuff and hold the door for you. Pricewise I think it's pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for ... more
