Visited here with a baby and toddler on the hottest day of the year. There was no air con which is a big mistake as the restaurant is underground leaving upstairs to home the gift shop you are forced to walk through.
The place was overcrowded and swealtering.
Public transport in London is unreliable at the best of times but if you are more than 15 mins late you lose your booking which we did. They eventually found a table for us and we waited a long time to be served. Once we were, the service was good and friendly perhaps because all the waiters are foreign!
The food came so quick I suspect it was microwaved. It was average and overpriced.
The decor is good and kept the little people amused until the heat could not be ignored. Older kids may think it is a bit naff.
Rainforest Cafe London mistakenly thinks good decor can make up for overpriced, below par food and a long wait for nothing much. There are better places in London to go with the family at half the cost.
