Advantages: large selection of conference rooms for businesses Disadvantages: no entertainment for those not in a conference,
I stayed at the Ramada Hotel and ConferenceCenter, Edmonton, for 18 days in October. The stay was not a comfortable one. The check in counter was lined up upon arrival, and always appears to be lined up. The Elevators are ODD. You never know what will happen when you get in one when it finally shows up at your floor. The beds are hard. I was put on a waiting list for a fridge and in the 18 days never received a fridge. The wireless internet was unstable, sometimes allowing me to hook up, sometimes shutting down in the middle of an email. It advertised as wireless but I had to use the cable the majority of the time. There is only two washers and two dryers (that take up to two hours to dry one load), which seems inadequate for the number of rooms in the hotel. The Room I received was clean, tidy and had lots of space in it, there were two double beds and it allowed smoking (as I ...
Advantages: Clean spacious rooms Disadvantages: Customer service levels lets the hotel down

There were also guest parking spaces at the front of the hotel and underground parking available with a lift to bring you up to reception. The car park has around 80 spaces.
We were able to enter the hotel through the rear entrance and went to reception which was just a few yards away. There were two sets of people checking in but we didn?t have to wait as one set had just ...
