Ramada Belfast

I stayed in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast and I must say that the experiance had its flaws and its charms. I normally stay in the Hilton or the Europa in Belfast if I ever decide to stay but because of the busy Valintines Day period I was unable to book a room in either of these hotels so I then decided to book a room with the Ramada.
The price of this hotel was reasonable, at £79 a night, I think that this is a great price for a hotel of this standard because compared to the Hilton thats rooms can cost up to £125 a night for a twin room this is a great price for a Friday night, though the Travel Lodge probably would have been cheaper if you decide to go away for lesiure reasons sometimes that hotel wont cut it.The Room I received was clean, tidy and had lots of space in it, there were two double beds and it allowed smoking (as I had requested), there was a large flat screen tv that had a range of channels but no sky tv and a sitting area with a sofa and a table.
The bathroom was nice and clean too with little shampoos and lotions inside, there was a bath and shower and plenty of large towels provided as well.Room service was available but I didnt take it because it was very expensive and I thought it would be cheaper to eat out in Belfast instead. There was also an indian restaurant and a bar in the hotel however I didnt try these either.
The staff were helpful and friendly and had a good knowledge of where the best places, clubs and pubs in Belfast were.Cleaning staff didnt interupt you to clean your room until after you had checked out which is a really good feature of this hotel, though check out was early at 11am, which is earlier than anywhere I have ever stayed.
Overall I had a lovely stay in the Ramada and I think that it was just as good as the Hilton, apart from there being no sky channels available. I recommend it to anyone who needs a relaxing break at a great affordable price.***Also posted on dooyoo under lorrainek858***
