Ramada Hotel Helsinki Airport, Vantaa

...My flight to Helsinki was the most adventurous in my life. It was my first flight on my own and I was about to stay 3 winter months in Finland for a traineeship. Until, I only knew the airport in Frankfurt / Germany which is not really famous for his clarity. You can imagine, I was nervous... There was no reason for my fear. The airport (lento-asema in finish by the way) is very small (some years ago it did win the price as the most clear airport in Europe) and very clear structured. In July 2003 the main terminal was finished and is about 1.000 m² big. The airport Helsinki-Vantaa is about 1/2 Stunde from the City of Helsinki (about 19 km) and about 25 km from Tapiola in Espoo. For 4,90 ? the bus takes you from the airport to the centre of Helsinki. And Helsinki is worth at least a weekend trip! Direct bus connections are... Read review

...The Ramada Hotel Belfast is an O.K hotel to stay in. I liked the hotel because a ten minute walk took me to lady Dickson park and the kids could play in the park for hours. Also it was O.K because a taxi journey of 15-20 minutes took me into Belfast city centre. The staff in the hotel were helpful at times but they didn't rush too much to help you. The hotel has WI-FI access and this came in handy a few times. The meals in this hotel are nice but they could be better. The rooms are very up to date and modern but I found the double beds a bit small and they were not very big. The hotel was always very busy and I really liked the GYM in it because it had almost everything. The hotel itself is very clean and they also have a smoking room. I would recommend this hotel if somebody was only going over for a weekend or so but not much more. I... Read review

...I recently had to stay over night at Olso airport since our plane got in late at night and there were no flights to my final destination until the morning. We knew this in advance and had pre-booked a room via a discount hotel website. We chose the Norlandia hotel since it was called ?Norlandia Oslo Airport Hotel? and therefore thought it was a good choice since it was close to the airport. This was where my first gripe with the hotel came from.. once we had arrived we had to take a shuttle bus to get to the hotel, this cost us 60kr each one way (around £6) The airport is infact not so close to the hotel and took a 10 minute bus ride! In the morning we had to take the bus again, so all in all we spent about £24 getting to and from this ?Airport Hotel?. Once we got to the hotel, checking in was easy.
