The Deep, Hull, East Yorkshire

Advantages: Interesting and lots of species to see
Disadvantages: If your not interested in fish,it might not be so much fun 4u!!!

The Deep is based in Hull in Yorkshire right on the edge of the Humber Estuary. It opened in 2002 and is a charitable aquarium working towards raising public awareness of the threats to the fish, mammals and plants that live in the ocean and supports the marine conservation society. LOCATION Its in a great location for visiting the rest of the city as its only a five minute walk away from the city centre where there is lots of shopping to be done, some great cafes and pubs and there are also a handful of museums scattered around the town. A recently build pedestrian and cycle bridge was built at the side of the Deep which actually links the aquarium to the old quarter of the city. However if you dont fancy and are literally just visiting the city for The Deep there is a large car park right outside the building. The car park ...

Wilberforce anniversary .(re:- William Wilberforce the anti - slavery campaigner from Hull ) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To sum up all I can do is recommend the Hull New Theatre . For a City with lots of problems and a smallish provincial Theatre it really is excellent . Hull's New Theatre is in Kingston Square , Kingston-Upon-Hull , Hu1 3HF Contact the Box Office for more details. (01482) 226655 You can also book online . Prices vary , we paid £26 each for Saturdays performance .They are usually from £10 with family concessions , student and child reductions . If you pay over the phone by switch they post your tickets and charge you £1.50 for the privilege . Coffees, soft drinks and snacks are sold in the bars . Review of Hull New Theatre, Kingston-upon-Hull

A different kind of trip to the theatre .

Advantages: Good Value , lovely setting , handy for the theatre , great food
Disadvantages: None for me

Kingston-Upon-Hull , or as it is usually known locally Hull , is situated on the north bank of the River Humber in the county of East Yorkshire . If you are visiting the City from the south you will find the Humber Bridge provides much quicker access than of old . However there is a toll . The City itself has numerous , free museums , the Ferens Art Gallery , the Deep ( pay to enter ) , a few new shopping centres ( the St. Stephens project still being under construction ) and a couple of theatres ( Hull Truck and the New theatre ) If you decide to visit check out via the local tourist office . If you are looking for a centrally based place to stay , look no further than the Kingston Theatre Hotel . If you just want a good place to pop in , and wine and dine , then this is also the place for you . ~~~~~~~~~~~~ A little bit ...
