The easiest thing to say is that I spent 6 nights here and didnt have too many problems. Now lets get to real important bits:
Well firstly getting to the hotel from the airport is relatively easy, just wait for the provided shuttle service and they will take you there! Or if you are wanting to be adventourous there is always the Boston T (bostonsubway)
The hotel itself is of mid size and located a few miles east of downtown Boston. It has a pool, but this is not much. It has a laundrette, which again is no frills (you have to pay for the machines). Breakfast is pretty basic but adequate (includes bagels, toast, cereal etc).
The rooms are of a nice nice with ample room to feel comfortable. \the showers are great! The room has the usual TV set, Iron and Ironing board. It is cleaned once a day by friendly and helpful staff.
I never eat at the hotels restraunt, so cant comment on the food but looking at the menu, there seemed a variety of choices all of which were well priced for hotel food.
The major down point of the hotel is a down point. Everything requires the hotels shuttle (which is free). The shuttle takes you to the subway stop and the UMA campus and back. This service runs every 15 minutes till about 1 am. After which you can call them from the subway stop and they will send one out to you! Downtown takes about 30 minutes via the subway. On site of the hotel there is bowling alley, pool etc for you to enjoy, though this was usually inhabited by the local teens and hence was not very exclusive. However this is all the entertainment you are going to get close to the hotel...
Boston is a safe city for its size and though the caution must always be priority, I never felt any fear around the hotel.
Apart from the location the other concern was that the hotel lends itself to groups of youngsters (late teens/early twenties) so there were a few noisy nights and hence would not really take a family there.
The price was good, and for a person wanting just a nice place to sleep after a day of sight seeing it is adequate.
I did not stay here the next time i went to boston, but that should not be taken as a minus.
