... ...local minicab was quite a welcoming way to arrive in Scotland. The fare was £9.70 and during the drive the taxi driver pointed out areas of interest and history to us. I later discovered that you are able to hire a guided tour cab from the town centre.
I should actually amend town centre to city centre as The Queen recently bestowed City Status onto Inverness and from their tourist information literature I would say that the locals seem pretty proud ...
