Advantages: Great markets and food Disadvantages: Harrassment from locals depending on time of year you go
I think Morocco is an acquired taste. I went to Agadir with my mum for a 2 week break (leaving from Glasgow) during the month of December. I chose to go then because I knew it would be a bit quieter.
It was my second visit to Morocco, the first having been to the north in the early 80s with my identical twin sister. As my twin and I are both red heads that caused quite a stir among the locals who would constantly ask us if we'd dyed our hair with Henna (and why we were so white!!!).
I had a bad experience on my first day down at the beach in Agadir with my mum when a really rude carpet seller just wouldn't take no for an answer. Luckilly for us a friendly local intervened. He was very decent and actually gave us lots of good advice about how to get to more remote, less touristy places.
The town of Agadir is split into 2 areas ...
Advantages: It was warmer than England Disadvantages: I prefer to be cold
I have just returned for a week in Agadir and I am compelled to share by experience, where shall I start? I booked it last minute and new hotels where being built, I can deal with the noise. I dont moan about accomdation because if its clean and has a shower Im happy. (it was clean and had sort of a shower)

The operation of the airport is very efficient
Now to the bad points, in no particular order:
The most dishonest people I have ever come across, let me give you some examples:
1) The number of beach salesmen selling tat, approaching you when you are asleep on the beach with your ipod on. The poke they give you scares the life out of you and leaves you unable to relax. This happened day after day after day. They dont leave until you say no at least five times ...
Advantages: Fantastic food and entertainment Disadvantages: Fight for the sunbeds - we just didn't bother!!
Caribbean Village Agador
When we booked a two weeks all inclusive holiday in Morocco we didn't know what to expect. It was a part of the world that we had never visited before and we went slightly unsure as to what to expect.
We were staying in Caribbean Village Agador at Agadir, and were a little worried by some of the negative reports we had read on Trip Adisor. But we always like to judge a place for ourselves so went along with an open mind.
The 'we' in question were my me, my husband and our 11 year old son - as anyone knows who takes away a child of this age, if they are happy so are you!!
When we got off our plane at Al Massira airport we were immediatly hit by the heat, certainly a lot different from the weather we had left behind in Manchester! We were quickly through custom control and on our coach to ...
