Advantages: Western comforts if that's your thing Disadvantages: Wealth divide, Lack of culture, unfriendly locals
...I arrived in Casablanca by train and took a taxi to the city centre where i planned to stay. The taxi driver seemed to drive around in circles even though I'd given him a map in French of where I wanted to go, eventually dropping me off around half a mile away.
I'd spent a bit of time in Morocco in the cities and desert and was wholey disappointed by Casablanca. Travelling on a budget I saw most of what the westerners staying at the beach resorts missed. The dead animals on the side of the streets and plenty of fighting between the locals.

Advantages: coastal area beauitful Disadvantages: beggars
...I flew to Mohammed V Airport very nice airport but the security a bit intimiating if you cant speak arabic. On visiting friends was interagated by the police to where i was stopping. Casablanca town is very busy and you have to be careful as there are a lot of beggars and would steal from you given the opportunity. So be aware when taking money out in the street, The markets are very busy and cheap but be aware of pickpockets.
The local food is really nice and the tagine made with lamb is the best i have ever tasted. Food in morocco is very fresh and would not pass the food safety standards of england but very nice. Arabic , French speaking people and berber too....

ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN
The hotel was easy enough to spot from the main road as it has a large sign in front to indicate its presence. We drove into the car park at the rear of the hotel and managed to find a parking space. There were also guest parking spaces at the front of the hotel and underground parking available with a lift to bring you up to reception. The car park has around 80 spaces.
We were able to enter the hotel through the rear entrance and went to reception which was just a few yards away. There were two sets of people checking in but we didn?t have to wait as one set had just...
