Ramada Limited Buffalo Airport, Williamsville

Advantages: Very convenient for the airport, New, Stylish, Comfortable
Disadvantages: The breakfast could have been better

...this was no ordinary toaster – it was the sort used in restaurant kitchens – and there were no instructions on how to operate it, or warnings that the tray the toast dropped into could get very hot. I ended up burning my fingers on it, which I was obviously none too impressed about. Would it honestly have been that difficult to put up a sign and leave some tongs for picking up the toast? Overall, breakfast was a very ordinary experience in terms of food and a rather painful one as well. · The Final Thoughts Overall I would say that my stay at the Ramada Jarvis Glasgow Airport hotel was a positive one, although there is some room for improvement. My room was excellent, staff were helpful and efficient and check out was very quick and easy, but breakfast let the hotel down by being limited in choice, slow in service and lethal in toaster. ...drinks and hot live music including jam sessions every Monday night. A monthly schedule is available to view and a visit when Tommy is playing is a must. Highly recommended!! If you want a more up-market hotel than the one I stayed at (Ramada on Chatham Road South) I suggest you consider the Peninsula (still the best hotel in HKI and Kowloon). It exudes the old-style of money and class and has its own helicopter stand on the top of the building so you can travel in style from the airport (which, incidentlally, is miles from Kowloon and even further from HKI). The Intercontinental has wonderful harbour views of HKI (worth visiting just to see the night-time views) and the Intercontinental is another high-class hotel if you prefer something smaller but elegant. ...for the night in the Ramada Plaza hotel at Gatwick. This meant that we were getting to stay the night in London for nothing as we arranged to get a refund from the travel agents for our original hotel meaning the flight being moved worked in our favour this time. *****LOCATION***** The Ramada Plaza hotel, Gatwick is located four miles away from Gatwick airport. When we arrived at the airport we were at the North terminal at which point we took the free train service to the South terminal to take advantage of Virgin's twilight check-in services and get rid of our suitcases. At this point with just our hand luggage to haul about we made our way outside the South terminal building and used one of the phones provided to phone the Ramada Plaza hotel.
