HOTEL GALLERIA, SUBOTICA - certainly no rogue's galleria

Advantages: Amazing value, first class hotel
Disadvantages: Absolutely none

Subotica is just a few miles over the Hungarian border and so gets quite a few visitors from there I expect. It's certainly a place worth visiting and with the nearby lake palic tourist area, there's no shortage of accommodation in the area. We were only stopping there for one night on our way to Bulgaria and a quick search for a hotel threw up a wide variety of options but when we came across the Hotel galleria, it really was no contest. Although the hotel is in the centre of town, it's really easy to find. It's just a couple of turns off the main drag and it's well signposted. Parking is free in an underground car park which is always a bonus. The hotel is a modern building but sits well amongst its surroundings and blends in nicely. It's a six storey building set around a central atrium which houses a shopping centre and some ...

Review of Hotel Galleria, Subotica

Nippy Hotel.

Advantages: great hotel
Disadvantages: prices

Intro Me and my boyfriend visited this hotel in July 2009. We stayed for 3 nights, but although we only went bed and breakfast, we were able to access all the services which was great! Food The breakfast was great we had so much to choose from. There was toast, cereals, cooked breakfast, yoghurt's and fruit. We didn't have chance to have a meal at the hotel but it was around £15.00 for a set three course meal which was not too bad at all! Location This hotel is located on Redcliffe Way in Bristol. It couldn't have been in a more perfect location in my opinion. It was close to the city centre an we often walked into the city for shopping or eating! The Hotel Itself This hotel is part of the Ramada chain and it was very clean- housemaids cleaned every morning, the room service was expensive as imaginable but what can you do ...

Review of Ramada Plaza Hotel, Bristol

Good Hotel for exploring Bristol

Advantages: Clean, comfy, modern
Disadvantages: Very expensive restarant and bar, rather sad swimming pool and gym

This hotel in in the centre of Bristol within waling distance of Temple Meads Station. If you know Bristol then you will know that this location then might mean convenience but it's not gorgeous - a lot of Bristol was bombed in the war and rebuilt in the 50s and 60s and it shows! The hotel itself is newer than that though, but when you arrive it does look a bit tired and in need of a facelift. Parking is available and not difficult, though like most city centre budget hotels you have to pay extra for it, but I thought the £3.50 a night quite a good rate. It seemed a secure car park. . I checked in swiftly and the receptionist was helpful and friendly. I paid £104 a night for two people for an executive double (i.e. one grade up from the standard one) over the internet before we went. The hotel has a lot of floors (we were ...
