Advantages: No nonsense hotel with fabulous views. Good price. Good location. Disadvantages: Doesn't have all the mod cons of a chain hotel, however it has character!
My family has been staying at this hotel since the 1940?s across three generations and it is a hotel that I will remember from my childhood. I recently returned to stay here for a family funeral and write this review based on my stay in June 2009.
The Stade Court stands proudly on the seafront at Hythe and has brilliant views over the English Channel. The art deco architecture makes a bold statement both outside and inside the hotel and more recently under the new owners has been brought into the 21st century with a modernisation program.
My father booked the rooms over the Internet on their website at a cost of £70 B&B for a standard room.
Arrival
The property is easy to find, situated on the sea front at Hythe and is signposted from the town centre. There is ample on street parking as well as the guest car park at the rear ...
Advantages: Pleasant hotel not too far from the old town Disadvantages: noisy!

It lies within a residential area, but is relatively private as it's set in its own, wooded grounds.
It's not the most attractive building around (what was going on with architects in ...
Advantages: If your here your here for a great reason ! Disadvantages: Concrete Jungle, treated like sheep.
Marseille
Now the dream is over its time to write the review, I am (for my sins) a Bolton Wanderers supporter and having followed them all over the world (yes, that includes pre-season trips to the US, Denmark, Italy etc etc.) I felt it only right to start to pass on some of the information that I have gained.
This review is based on my experience of the stadium in which we were knocked out of the UEFA cup against Marseille. It is honest and provides some good information for anyone going to a game at the Stade Veledrome
As an away supporter in "europe" its difficult to describe the approach to the Stade Veledrome as you see very little of it. "Bussed in" from the centre the first view you get of the stadium itself is after some very thorough searching which is detailed below, and only adds to the aura surrounding the club ...
