Ramada Treff Stade, Stade

Advantages: No nonsense hotel with fabulous views. Good price. Good location.
Disadvantages: Doesn't have all the mod cons of a chain hotel, however it has character!

...My family has been staying at this hotel since the 1940?s across three generations and it is a hotel that I will remember from my childhood. I recently returned to stay here for a family funeral and write this review based on my stay in June 2009. The Stade Court stands proudly on the seafront at Hythe and has brilliant views over the English Channel. The art deco architecture makes a bold statement both outside and inside the hotel and more recently under the new owners has been brought into the 21st century with a modernisation program. My father booked the rooms over the Internet on their website at a cost of £70 B&B for a standard room. Advantages: Pleasant hotel not too far from the old town
Disadvantages: noisy!

...While touring Germany last year, we wanted to break our journey from Berlin at a convenient spot. But we wanted somewhere we could spend a couple of days and have enough to do. After a bit of research we decided on Goslar, in the Harz mountains. Rather than staying in an hotel on the old town with some historic character, and ricketty floors, we opted for something more modern in the shape of the Treff Ramada which we managed to book direct for only 53 euros per night room only. The hotel is situated outside of the old town (1.5km), but it's pretty easy to find as it's only a few junctions from the main highway and well signposted in any case. ...Marseille Now the dream is over its time to write the review, I am (for my sins) a Bolton Wanderers supporter and having followed them all over the world (yes, that includes pre-season trips to the US, Denmark, Italy etc etc.) I felt it only right to start to pass on some of the information that I have gained. This review is based on my experience of the stadium in which we were knocked out of the UEFA cup against Marseille. It is honest and provides some good information for anyone going to a game at the Stade Veledrome As an away supporter in "europe" its difficult to describe the approach to the Stade Veledrome as you see very little of it.
