Rasool Court Hotel, London

Advantages: Close to Tube Station/Bars/restaurants
Disadvantages: Lift too small

...Myself, my husband and 2 friends stayed at The Kensington Court Hotel in Feb 2006, whilst on a weekend break to London. The hotel is in an ideal situation for travellers in the fashionable Earls Court.It is a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station and has lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself was very clean and well presented.The rooms were very spacious with everything you need eg hairdryers, kettles, towels, tv etc.The en-suite bathroom had a shower and bath with plenty of hot water.The beds were enormous and very comfortable. We had a full english breakfast which was lovely.The only thing i could complain about was the turkey slice instead of bacon. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially when we all got stuck in the lift on our last day!! It cost us £115 for 3 nights, booking through... Read review

...+++++++Intro+++++++++ This is a review of the Garth Hotel in Gower St London. I have noticed that offers for other Garth Hotels pop up around this review, so be careful which one you are looking at. Its a large 5 story terraced house currently used as a Hotel. There are a lot of steep stairs and no facilities for disabled people that I could see. +++++++++Location++++++++++ The first thing to say about the Garth Hotel in Gower St is that the location is brilliant. Especially if you want to go to the British Museum, Tottenham Court Road or Oxford St. Its also very handy for Euston Station which is only a five minute walk away. ++++Common Areas++++ It is a budget hotel and has to be judged as such. Advantages: Close to the Royal Abert Hall, modern, bright, minimalist style
Disadvantages: Too small, rooms lacking essentials, narrow staircase, unreliable lift

...that London is expensive and that you're really paying for the prime location - and this is Kensington (so you're within walking distance of the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Science Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Earls Court, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Sloane Street etc.) - but for £160, I expected more.
