Go to record collector . They have an excellent variety of new and second hand CDs to cater for all tastes in one half of the shop , and in the other half , a huge collection of Vinyl.
All music is really cheap and it's worth looking at both new and second hand because i've found so many CDs in there at even half the price of what i would have paid at a huge store like HMV.
It is situated on Fulwood road in Broomhill , just across the road from Boots etc.. and looks kinda pokey and small , but opens out a little when you get in there. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful but they'll understandably only buy decent CD's from you as my friend who shall remain nameless found out when trying to get rid of CDs like the soundtrack to "Titanic" etc.. .
But yeah , Very good value for money CDs . I've not bought much vinyl from there , except an Alice Cooper LP which again was cheaper than i'd have expected to pay for it . All the Second hand CDs i've bought from there have been in Good condition and it's worth having a trawl through all of them because i can guarantee you won't find just one CD that you want . The only album i haven't found in there is Black Flag : "damaged" .... but then again , i can't find it in HMV or Virgin either so i'm going to keep trying at the second hand selection.
I'd definately reccomend Record Collector to anybody looking for a particular album or just in need of some new music . All tastes catered for , Fab prices ... go go go !
