DO NOT USED RECORD RENTA CAR if you want a safe journey for your children
All the hire seats are left outside the pickup point carpark cabin. They all were damaged and had a missing safety clip that stops the belt from coming loose especially since the seats did not fit the car we had. The seat belt locking mechanism was difficulIt to engage meaning the seat becomes loose when pulling on the seat to mimic an accident. It took 30 mins to untangle straps, cut the only red safety clip from a broken seat to make our seat somewhat safe to use.
I spoke to 3 people with the same problem and they drove off with unsafe child seats.
We will be taking our own from now on
