Fairfield Inn, Lake Buena Vista - Bring your ear plugs!

Advantages: Clean, tidy hotel with excellent service from staff
Disadvantages: Noisy hotel near a busy motorway, not enough seats at breakfast

Having previously stayed at The Farifield Inn near International Drive in Orlando, we had hoped that this hotel would be as equally as good. We stayed this time at the 'Fairfield Inn' at Lake Buena Vista. On first impressions things were fine, staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly, the reception area was large, welcoming and well decorated. The pool area was nice, clean and towels supplied. Rooms were equally well decorated. Then came time to sleep!! After 2 days I surrendered and went and bought ear plugs to drown out the all night noise from the near by motorway. Windows were single glazed and the motorway extremely busy. Granted it was a busy time of year during the holidays but the motorway caused even more problems - each day we would jump in the car eager to visit one of the many fantastic florida attractions ...

Lake Buena Vista

Advantages: Location, comfort and quality
Disadvantages: None

We stayed at the Lake Buena Vista in March 2007 and had a great time. The location is excellent, close to all major routes to just about anywhere in central Florida and only minutes from DisneyWorld, Premium Outlet malls, other attractions, shops and restaurants this makes a great base for visitors with a car. Getting around Orlando form here is simple and it is great to have somewhere quieter to return to after a hard days touristing. The area is undergoing some development but that was not a problem and nearby construction, although not exactly pretty to look at, did not cause us any disturbance whatsoever. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the furniture was suprisingly comfortable. Our suite was well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great time. Review of Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Disney Magic

Advantages: close to disney area
Disadvantages: young children will enjoy disney hotels

I recently stayed at the Hilton hotel in Lake Buena Vista and had a brilliant holiday there. Lake Buena Vista is adjacent to the main disny park so this makes it a ideal location for those wanting to visit both the disney parks and other attractions within Florida. If you are going to visit Florida it can be quite daunting choosing a hotel from the hundreds on offer but I would definitely choose one in the Lake Buena Vista area. LOCATION The hotel I stayed in was less than 5 mintues walk away from the downtown disney complex that contains all the shops and resturants as well as the night time entertainment. Some of the hotels in the disney park are in the actual theme parks but you will still have to travel by bus to the other parks and if you do not eat in your hotel you need to drive or catch a bus to downtown disney.
