King of Parks Review with images

AdvantagesBeautiful, diverse, spacious natural resource

DisadvantagesNot open 24 hours

"...spectacle. ==Summary== What are you waiting for? Regent's Park is an enormous oasis of quintessentially British beauty. There's a part of the park for every age and taste and what's more it's free. Don't feel that you have to be lured by the zoo and the concerts. Just enjoy the rose gardens or the boating lake and marvel at how close you are to nature when the bustling city is just a stone's throw away. In a hectic, capitalist, 'nothing for free' ..." ~ * Worth A Visit * ~

AdvantagesFree! Beautiful!

DisadvantagesNone!

"As many of you will know from some of my recent reviews; I spent the Easter weekend in London. I had never been there before and so I was excited to see the city. We stayed at the Melia Whitehouse Hotel, which is located by Regent’s Park. As we were waiting for our rooms to be ready, we took a walk in the park. Whilst I am aware that there are many features in the park (more of this later). I will only talk about my walking experience ..." Read review

Londons finest

AdvantagesBeautiful park, well maintained, numerous facilities.

DisadvantagesCafes slightly expensive, films etc very expensive

"I had to organise an event at Regents Park recently which meant many, many planning visits!! I must now be qualified as a Park guide! The standards throughout the park are excellent, from the lawns and wonderful floral displays to the many cafes, all well maintained by friendly, helpful staff. Its a great day our for all the family with lots to occupy you. Feeding the ducks and the very cheeky tame squirrels provides hours of entertainment, ..." Read review

A ideal place

AdvantagesWonderful place

DisadvantagesThe rain which can't be helped!!!!

"A glorious way to spend a summer afternoon with something for everyone. Seems to be the tourist's idea of London. The open air theatre is fantastic and of course there is the Zoo for children, now I believe with more attractions than ever. The park considering the number of people in it provided space and a chance to get away from crowds elsewhere in London. It was also relatively litter free again a pleasant surprse these days. It is one of those ..." Read review
